Maintenance of general equipment usually falls in what we call the “Reactive Maintenance” category for instance “I can hear a rumble in my wheel bearings so I better get some new ones”.

This is fine as long as you get to it before it fails but the customer needs to be aware that there is some highly inferior brands of bearings on the market that are sold at premium prices but should not be used in most applications .
